This trippy toad is cast in solid resin, and at nearly 2" long it's roughly half scale to the average real specimen. The Colorado River Toad is illegal to own, due to its endangered status. Possibly also because it secretes a bufotoxin that really sends you out there when you smoke it. So I've heard.

Painted with oxidizing bronze, then treated with antique green patina. Each one will have an individual patina pattern. After oxidizing it gets sprayed with satin clear coat to protect the finish.

But wait there's more. I got three options. Photo #6 shows the antique bronze DMToad with its 2" square gift box. You can upgrade to a Smokin' DMToad (photo #7), which includes three magic cigarettes that blow smoke rings when you light them. This toad has a little hole drilled to hold the cigarettes, but it's not very noticeable. Or finally, you can pay a little less for a very neat thermochromatic color-changing toad (#8). When warmed to 88 degrees or higher it changes from dark hunter green to frosted white.

UPDATE: Smokin' Toad is no longer available, due to a lack of suppliers of cigs. I used to buy mine from an Etsy seller, but that store isn't currently operating. Let me know if you find a source somewhere.
